Sub.: Monthly Reimbursement of Business Development Expenses to Branch Heads

 

 

Now a days to garner new business, the Branch Heads are facing lot of competitions from peer Banks. Whereas, the Branch-heads often experience limitations in entertaining Bank’s clientele within their entitlement for reimbursement of Entertainment Expenses. In this connection, the Board of Directors of the Bank in its meeting held on 26.06.2009 has approved monthly reimbursement of Business Development Expenses to the Branch Heads of different category Branches to the following extent to enable them to take forward Bank’s business plan in a more vigorous manner.

Monthly reimbursement of “Business Development Expenses” will be permitted by the immediate higher authority i.e. Zonal Manager. Where the Branch Head and the Zonal Manager are in the same grade/scale, the reimbursement will be the permitted by the concerned Field General Manager. The aforesaid reimbursement will not be applicable in the case of Service Branches where business development is not called for.

 

The monthly reimbursement of Business Development Expenses to Branch Heads will be effective from 1st JULY 2009. This scheme will be reviewed every six months to assess its impact on the performance of the Branch Heads. The first review will be undertaken in the month of January, 2010.

 

Branches / Offices are advised to take a careful note of the above and act accordingly.
